Learning notes first is essential since, its notes which make up chords, and scales. So lets start by teaching you piano notes.

Looking down at a Piano (or Keyboard!) you may notice there are two different coloured keys, white (or natural keys) and black keys (which are always – either sharp’s or flat’s) but we’ll discuss that later.

Learning piano notes (white keys):

You may or may not know that each natural (or white) key has a related note (in a letter form). Now the pattern for the keys is: CDEFGABCDE. You should read the note pattern from left to right, so D is the right key next to key C, and E is to the right of D and so forth.

But! You’ll need to find out where one note is before you can relate it to the pattern! So lets find out where key ‘C’ is!

Finding a C note:

Locate any pair of black keys and press the key directly left of the first black key (of the twin set), this is a C note! So the following white key on the right will be a D, then a E and so forth.

Now all you need to do is learn the note pattern by memory!

Tips to learning the note pattern:

Firstly the pattern repeats itself after note ‘B’, so really there’s only seven notes to learn! Practice the pattern with both hands, and at the same time and try to memorize what the pattern looks like, it will take some practice but you’ll eventually get it!

Learning black notes:

Black notes are slightly easier, since they are either Sharp (#) or Flats (b) essentially each black key relates to a white key and is either half a note highly or lower than its related white key.

The black note to the right of a white key will be that white keys Sharp (#), such as C #, or if its to its left it will be its flat (b) i.e. C b! Of course this does mean each black key is both a flat and a sharp!

If you can learn the white and black notes, your basic piano skill base will be greatly improved, and you’ll be on your way to learning the piano!

C and starts to play up or down for the next seven colors and recognizes the household level. The characteristic of the major scale is the half steps are between 3 and 4, and 7 and 8, when no black key. All ranges are other steps together. Thus, the C Program Tracks:

CDEFGABC

When a plane takes notes other than those of the scale, we call these colors "alterations". When the bell is lowered and used the black button on the left is called a flat when the tone gets up and use the black button on the right is called a border. Thus, G #, and AB are the same key. All scales, except for C, however, require the use of one or more keys blacks. These keys are not considered alterations, since they belong to the scale, but rather whether or # b is removed, the tone is considered an accident because he was abroad on this scale. Now, if we play the scale of D, will take place:

DEF GABC # # D

Note that the scale of D has two sharps: F # and C #.
